Hi, I'm Ian, A Christian Wedding Photographer in North Devon.
Your wedding day is a BIG day in your life, committing to each other and to God (cue the pastor mentioning the three strands of a marriage). I have had the privilege of being a part of many Christian weddings, occasionally singing along while shooting and enjoying the preaching whilst still capturing the laughs and emotions. I get church weddings because I am a Christian. I get the fact that the WHOLE church turn up to see you get married, including the people who you don't even know the names of, but they know you! I get that the church service is just as important, if not more important than the rest of the day. I get that emotions run high but you are both determined to make a commitment in front of your friends, family, church family and God. I understand most things to do with a church wedding and I've done it myself - I got married to my beautiful wife in 2009 and have never looked back!
When someone gets in touch with me about a church wedding I get quite excited, you know that the day will be just a little different to a typical civil ceremony, and that's good! Bring on the food, bring on the hugs, the emotion and fun, bring it all on! I'll capture everything that happens in full colour for you to look back on in years to come.
